Urgent need for a RN Pediatric for one of our client which is a medical center

• Job Location: 725 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201
• Shift: Days(7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)/ Night(7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40 Hours
• Minimum years of experience: 2year

Pay rate: $85/hr

Job Description:

• Working with children and asking questions about their health for diagnosis and documenting patients' symptoms and medical history for the doctor.
• Assessing a child's needs and providing initial care.
• Identifying changes in children's symptoms and intervening in emergency situations.
• Participating in pain management for children.
• Administering medications, drawing blood, and giving childhood vaccinations following age-appropriate guidelines.
• Depending on assignment incumbents may be required to possess and maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment Knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics

Position Requirements:

• 2 years current Peds experience  
• BSN preferred
• ACLS (AHA) Required
• BLS (AHA) Required
• PALS (AHA) Required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• MA state license
