Job Name: CT Technician

Job Location: Bakersfield, CA 93306

Shift: 4X10 - Rotating shift, mostly nights, some graveyard.

No of weeks: 3 Months + Extendable

Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs

Pay rate: $70/hr

Requirements:

• BLS required
• Covid Vaccination required
• Certification for CDPH in both radiology and fluoroscopy.
• Certification from the ARRT in both Radiology and CT.
• 2 years of CT experience. Acute Care, ICU, and busy trauma preferred in a 200+ bed facility.

Job Description:

• Performs all preliminary tasks to insure smooth access to the scanner;
• Explains the procedure and gives directions to the patients before the procedure;
• Assists the patient onto the examination table and back;
• Positions patients appropriately for the examination requested;
• Performs all computer and radiographic functions necessary to insure that the scan is correctly and diagnostically executed in minimal time;
