**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Central Sterile Technician for one of our client which is a Hospital,

• Pay Rate: $30/hr
• Job Location: Gardner, MA 01440
• Shift Information: 40-hour days, some weeknight call and some weekend call.
• Shift options include: 12:00 PM–9:00 PM for highly experienced technicians. This shift is entirely unsupervised and requires the ability to work independently. 7:00 AM–5:00 PM also available.
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CRCST / Registered Central Service Technician certification.
• Minimum 6 months of central sterile processing experience.
• Knowledge of sterile processing standards and practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure proper operation of steam and gas autoclaves/sterilizers.
• Perform and document biological and chemical sterilization testing.
• Prepare surgical trays and special procedure items for sterilization.
• Properly wrap and package instruments and supplies according to sterilization principles.
