Urgent need for a Certified Sterile Process Tech for one of our client which is a Hospital

Job Location: Dover, NH

Shift: Evenings

Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable

Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs

Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $40/hr

Job Description:

1. To maintain staff safety as it relates to proper decontamination of instrumentation and equipment.

2. Instrument station: to identify, disassemble, inspect and reassemble equipment/instruments used in treatment of patients.

3. Sterilization, Wrapping/Loading Station: Demonstrates a variety of repetitive skills and tasks requiring manual dexterity and the rationale for each.

4. Operating Room Station: Maintains the standard of patient care and staff safety as it relates to proper decontamination of instruments and equipment.

5. Endoscopy Department Station: Maintains and assures the standard of patient care and staff safety as it relates to proper decontamination of endoscopes and related endoscopy equipment.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years Current experience - Required
• MUST BE A CERTIFIED STERILE PROCESSOR!
• Steris equipment experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED!! Techs with this experience will be given first consideration.
• Verified experience in all areas of Sterile Processing i.e. assembly, decontamination, sterilization, wrap and prep, processing of endoscopes - Required
• High proficiency with Robotic, Trauma and Total Joint Instruments Required
• Must be punctual, reliable and have a positive attitude
• SPM tracking system experience preferred, but not mandatory
