Urgent need for a Certified Surgical Technologist for one of our client which is a Hospital

• Job Location: Marshalltown, IA 50158
• Shift: Days & Nights (8 Hour )
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Weekend Requirements: As needed including holiday rotation

Pay rate: $52/hr

Job Description:

• Lifts instrument sets, supplies, etc., weighing up to 40 lbs. as needed for patient care. Assists in positioning patients on surgery table.
• Pushes case carts weighing about 100 lbs. from central core to OR suite. Pushes and pulls patient carriers/beds, both with and without patients. Assists in transferring anesthetized patients from the OR table to carrier.
• Stands in one place for long periods of time. Stands and walks continuously. Must be able to rush in a crisis. Bends, stoops, squats, twists and reaches.

Position Requirements:

• BLS (AHA) - Required
• COVID Vaccine Required
• 1 year current CST experience - Required
• High proficiency in Endo, Eyes, General Surgery, Ortho and Podiatry
• Previous travel preferred
• NBSTSA - Required
