**Quick Start **

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong orthopedic surgical experience in our Hospital.

• Location: Lamar, CO 81052
• Pay Rate: $52–$54/hour
• Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
• Shift: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM(M-F)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
• On-Call: Rotating night and weekend call required
• Schedule: May need to stay late depending on surgical case volume.

Requirements:-

• Minimum 5 years of current Surgical Technician experience.
• Orthopedic surgical experience is required.
• Must be registered as a Surgical Technologist with the State of Colorado.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.
• Must be available for rotating night and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:-

• Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
• Pass instruments and sterile supplies to surgeons.
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and other supplies.
• Assist with applying dressings and preparing surgical specimens for testing.
• Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection-control protocols.
• Support sterile processing activities as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
