**Quick Start**

• Profession: Child Care Teacher
• Job Location: Richmond, VA, 23298.
• Shift: 7.5 hour shift between the hours of 6A-8P. Don’t have exact shift yet. Mon – Fri.
• Employment Type: Perm

Pay Rate: $38K – 48K per year

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Two (2) year degree in early childhood education, child psychology, psychology or closely related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field (i.e. Child Psychology, Children’s Literature).
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate.
• Previous experience working with children ages six (6) weeks to six (6) years of age (paid or unpaid).
• Two (2) years of formal experience.

Job Description:

• Teaching reading, writing, addition, subtraction, telling time, tying shoes, etc.
• Developing and creating fun and engaging learning activities.
• Adherence to a learning curriculum
• Sending home weekly reports outlining challenge areas and progress of each student
• This position will be on your feet constantly interacting with students
• Cleaning duties assigned along with other teachers
