Quick Start**

• Urgent need for a Clinical Pharmacist with our client, which is a Hospital
• Job Location: Salinas, CA 93901
• Shift: Nights
• Duration of Contract: 3 Months + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs
• Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $80/hr

Job Duties:

· Works under the direct supervision of the Director and Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator to assist in optimizing patient’s drug regimen. Maintains appropriate records for medications and other pharmaceutical supplies ordered by physicians, dentists, and other qualified prescribers.

· Work is accomplished in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state, and federal authorities, as well as accepted standards of practice. Performs dispensing and other duties as assigned.

· 5+ years of Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Experience

· Night shift experience

· Meditech (EHR) experience

Certifications & Licenses

REQUIRED:

Current California Pharmacy License - Required Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association –

Required

BLS - AHA

Pharmacist License

Education:

BA/BS in Pharmacy - Required MS/PharmD – Preferred
