Urgent need for Director of Nursing position for one of our client which is a Nursing home,

• Job Location: Las cruces, NM 88011
• Shift: Day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Duration of Contract: 9 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week

NOTE: On call requirements: must be available 24/7 at least for phone calls/questions and only come into the center after hours in an emergency situation

Pay rate: $70/hr

Job Description:

• Lead the nursing staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support to the medical staff
• Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for care established by our organization and state and federal laws
• Create new policies and update existing policies to help improve the level of care for each patient
• Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest possible levels of service

Position Requirements:

• BLS Required
• Covid Vaccine Required
• NM State Licensed Required
• 2+ years’ nursing supervisory experience Required
