Urgent requirement for one of our client which is Correctional Facility,

• Job Name: Health Information Technician
• Job Location: Mansfield, OH 44902
• Shift : 8:00 AM -4:00 PM
• Duration of Contract: 1 Years
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs

Pay rate: $17/hr

• CPR - Optional

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• The successful candidate should have good computer skills that include data entry; management and possibly development of databases, especially Excel; gathering, collating and reporting data gathered from various sources into daily, weekly and monthly reports and a history of work with an on-line healthcare charting system would be a bonus but is not required if the candidate is willing to learn.
• Charting experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Answering the phone and taking verbal orders over the phone
• Ordering supplies from suppliers and maintaining an inventory of items in storage
• Ensuring that proper equipment is available for patient care, such as wheelchairs, crutches, canes, and braces
• Identifying and responding to issues with equipment functionality or supply inventory levels
