Urgent need for a Histotechnologist/Grossing for one of our client which is a Hospital

Job Location: Saranac Lake, NY 12983

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours

Minimum years of experience: 2 year

Pay rate: $25/hr

Job Description:

The position is responsible for processing, embedding, cutting and staining of tissue slides, accurate quality control, special projects, equipment maintenance and all other duties assigned by the Team Lead or Laboratory Manager.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

•             2 Years CURRENT experience required

•             Bachelor Degree in Science required

•             Prefer HT but will accept MLT/MT with a Bachelor's in Science

•             Previous travel strongly preferred

•             MUST BE A NEW YORK LICENSED HISTOLOGY TECHNICIAN

•             Meditech experience

•             Experience  in grossing in pathology as well as embedding and cutting - Required (please note experience on submittal)
