Urgent need for Interventional Rad Tech - Diagnostic position for one of our client which is a Hospitals

• Job Location: Bronx, NY, 10461
• Shift: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM ( Weekends required)
• Duration of Contract:13-week initial assignment, each extension if granted is 8-week increments at a time

Pay Rate: $64/hr

Position Requirements:

• minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.
• Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (manager willing to accept out of state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer)
• BLS certification issued by AHA

Advanced-Level Certification (only need 1) from ARRT to include one of the following:

• ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology.
• ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.
• ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
• Additional Requirements: Prefers to have someone who has knowledge in Computed Tomography

Job Description:

• An interventional radiology technologist will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Required Vaccines: Varicella, TDAP, MMR, HEP B
