Urgent need for a LVN/LPN for one of our client which is a Medical Center

• Job Location: 1200 Pleasant StDes Moines, IA 50309
• Shift: Days: (8 hrs)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $40/hr

Job Description:

• Provides and coordinates nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
• Completes documentation to assure an accurate record of patient’s care.
• Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintains responsibility for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and other professionals in planning and implementing care within hospital policy and legal limitations.
• Assesses needs of patients and families, provides appropriate teaching to facilitate discharge planning, and makes the necessary referrals to community agencies to provide continuity of care.

Position Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of Clinic experience required
• Cardiology experience a HUGE plus!
• Single state or compact/multi-state license in-hand - required
• BLS – Required
• Must have IA State License.
