Urgent need for a MRI Technician with our client, which is a Medical Center,

• Job Location: Brattleboro, VT
• Shift: Shift: Days(7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Shift Note: Thursday - Sunday (07:30AM - 04:00PM), 32 hours/week
• Duration of Contract: PERM
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $104,601/annually

Position Requirements:

• Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Required. 
• Previous experience in MRI in a hospital setting. - Required
• ARRT Registry - Required
• MRI Registry - Required
• CPR Certified - Required
• Venipuncture Certification - Required (Can be obtained within 3 months of hire)
• At least 2 recent supervisory references - Required
• VT state license

Skills :

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervisoin
• Excellent communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
• Self driven/motivated technologist

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Position patient on examining table and place specified coil (receiver) such as head coil or knee coil close to area of interest, following protocols requested by Radiologist
• Demonstrate use of microphone that allows patient and technologist to communicate during examination
• Enter data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry into aperture of MRI equipment into computer
