Urgent need for a MRI Technician with our client,

Job Location: Bakersfield , CA 93306
Shift: Rotating 10 hour shifts
Shift Note: Weekend and 2 shifts during the week, Afterhours on-call and holidays
Duration of Contract: 10 weeks

Pay rate: $54/hr

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology. Approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. AND Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist; certification as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health; and, certification by the State of California, Department of Health Services as a Certified Fluoroscopy permit. A current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card. Appointees not possessing the BLS card must complete appropriate training for the card within 60 days of employment.

Job Duties

Under direction performs a variety of technical procedures which utilize Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for the diagnosis and treatment of disease and trauma. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images from patient’s bodies for diagnostic purposes.
