**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Medical Assistant (MA) for one of our client which is a Cancer Center .

• Job Location: 3435 West Broadway Avenue, Broadway W, Robbinsdale, MN 55422

• Shift: Days (8Hours) 7:45A - 4:15P

• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks

• Shift Notes: Monday through Friday- 40 Hour Guarantee

• Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $28/hr

Job Description:

• Performs patient and family education, counseling, and teaching.

• Brings patient into exam room, obtains brief history of complaints, prepares patient for exam and takes vital sign.

• Performs clerical work consisting of, referrals, scheduling appointments with other physicians and facilities, filling out forms, and answering phones.

• Assists physician with exam and procedures as needed.

• Stock rooms, takes care of instruments and autoclaves equipment.

• Assists in the orientation of personnel, with emphasis on nursing aspects.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ Years of Experience - Required

• Medical Assistant Diploma - Required

• MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES

• BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required

• History with Mental Health Patients (Inpatient or Outpatient) - Highly Preferred
