Urgent need for a Medical Assistant (MA) for one of our client which is a Clinic.

• Specialty: Float
• Job Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402
• Shift: 7:15AM - 5:45PM(10Hrs)
• Duration of Contract: 12 weeks
• Shift Notes: (40 Hour Guarantee ) Monday through Thursday
• Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $26/hr

Job Description:

• Performs patient and family education, counseling, and teaching.
• Brings patient into exam room, obtains brief history of complaints, prepares patient for exam and takes vital sign.
• Performs clerical work consisting of, referrals, scheduling appointments with other physicians and facilities, filling out forms, and answering phones.
• Assists physician with exam and procedures as needed.
• Stock rooms, takes care of instruments and autoclaves equipment.
• Assists in the orientation of personnel, with emphasis on nursing aspects.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ Years of Experience - Required
• Medical Assistant Diploma - Required
• MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
• BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
• Covid Vaccine - Required
• Must be comfortable giving immunizations - Required
• Must be able to manual blood pressure readings & vital signs - Required
• Vision Testing - Required
• Collection Experience - Required
• Lab Testing Experience - Required
• Family Practice Experience - Required
