Job Description :

Urgent need for a Medical Laboratory Scientist for one of our client which is Health care.

• Job Location: Exeter, NH
• Shift: Night(9:00 PM-7:30AM)(70 hrs bi-weekly)
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend & holiday rotation when scheduled
• Duration of Contract: TEMP(13 Weeks) TO PERM
• Minimum years of experience: 3 years

Pay rate: $40/hr

Job Description:

• Forwarding test results to physicians
• Keeping accurate records of test results
• Collecting, preparing and storing specimens
• Explaining test procedures to patients
• Examining and approving samples other professionals collect
• Ensuring optimum integrity, quantity and type of test samples
• Preparing lab reagents and standard solutions for tests
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Standardizing test procedures to ensure consistency, reliability and usefulness of results
• Calibrating equipment, developing standard operating procedures and determining correct reference ranges for tests
• Using automated equipment and computerized lab instruments to perform several tests simultaneously

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years current MT/MLS experience - required
• Hospital/Medical Center experience required
• STRONG & Proficient experience in Blood Bank
• Proficiency & experience in Chemistry, Hematology 
• Bachelor Degree - Required
• ASCP
