Urgent need for a Non-Clinical - Certified Coder for one of our client which is a Hospital ,

• Job Location: 243 elm street Claremont NH 03743
• Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40 Hours
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

 

Pay rate: $17/hr

Job Description:

• Accounts for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complications.
• Researches and analyzes data needs for reimbursement.
• Analyzes medical records and identifies documentation deficiencies.
• Serves as resource and subject matter expert to other coding staff.
• Reviews and verifies documentation supports diagnoses, procedures and treatment results.
• Identifies diagnostic and procedural information

 

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ yrs current medical coder experience
• AAPC Certification Required - Must be uploaded with profile
• High proficiency with Emergency Room coding or Physician Practice Coding required - Please note specific experience on profile
• Knowledge of coding, medical terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and computerized medical records/abstracting systems.
• Certification MUST be in-hand at upload. Facility will not pend
