Urgent need for Nuclear Med Tech position for one of our client which is a Medical Center

• Job Name: Nuclear Med Tech
• Job Location: Pikeville, KY 41501
• Shift: Days
• Duration of Contract: 16weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $65/hr

Skills

• Ability to operate Nuclear Medicine equipment required.
• Knowledge of Keyboard Patient Registration and Sieman Software required. Education

Position Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology/Nuclear Medicine program required.
• NMTCB or ARRT certification required.
• Kentucky State certification required.
• Covid Vaccination Required

Job Description:

• Performs venipuncture as required for exam.
• Measures and administers isotopes for procedure.
• Positions patient to obtain desired views.
• Performs series of images as appropriate.
• Send images to PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
• Completes documentation for radiation safety program and equipment testing.
• Prepares patient for exam by completing questionnaires and other documentation required for procedure
