Quick Start**

• Urgent need for a Nuclear Medicine Tech with our client, which is a Hospital
• Job Location: Salinas, CA 93901
• Shift: Days 8 hours
• Duration of Contract: 3 Months + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
• Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $70/hr

Job Duties:

· Under minimal supervision performs nuclear medicine procedures as requested by a physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs any combination of the following duties depending on the area of assignment.

· Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.

· Performs other duties as assigned. Performs nuclear medicine procedures by administering radiopharmaceuticals, IV and PO for concentration in specific areas of the body, under supervision of a physician.

Certifications & Licenses

REQUIRED:

Current California Nuclear Medicine license (RHN)

National Certification (CNMT) or ARRT (N)

Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards

Valid Driver’s License

Radiation Badge - Facility does NOT provide

Education:

REQUIRED: Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training Program
