• Job Name: Pharmacy - Pharmacist Outpatient
• Job Location: 237 S. 7th Street Grand Junction, CO 81501
• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 18:00)
• Duration of Contract: 4 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $50/hr

Job Description:

• Discussing medication options with patients and physicians to ensure that the best treatment plan is chosen
• Monitoring prescription drug costs and advising patients on how to lower costs while still using their medications safely
• Educating patients about their medications and treatment plans, including how to take medications properly and how to recognize side effects
• Explaining new medications or new uses for existing medications to patients, physicians, or other health care providers as needed
• Processing incoming prescriptions by reviewing them for accuracy and updating patient records

Position Requirements:

• Pharmacist - CO Certification required
• 2 years of experience - Required
• Covid Vaccine Required
