Urgent need for a Pharmacist for one of our client which is a Hospital

Job Location: Lancaster, NH, 03584

Shift: Days

Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable

Guaranteed hours: 40 hours. Must be flexible and work weekend shifts as needed

Minimum years of experience: 2 year

Pay rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

• Provide pharmaceutical services for the hospital, including but not limited to, interpreting provider prescriptions and medication orders, and compounding and dispensing prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals, ensuring that quality and compliance standards are met.
• Must have knowledge in pharmacokinetic dosing (ie.vancomycin, warfarin) and overall managing and optimizing drug therapy while in the hospital including renal dosing, and drug substitution to follow hospital formulary
• Will attend rounds with healthcare providers
• Update and maintain patient medications
• Weekdays: 7.30a-5p and Weekends: 7.30a-2p

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of experience - Required
• Hospital Pharmacy experience - Required
• IV Compounding experience - REQUIRED
• NH license at the time of submission - Required
• Oncology compounding experience - Preferred
• Meditech and Omnicell experience - Highly Preferred
• Previous travel - Preferred
• Rural hospital experience - Required
