Job Description :

Urgent need for a Physical Therapist Assistant with our client, which is a hospital.

• Pay rate: $48/hr
• Job Location: Alturas, CA 96101
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday Through Friday )
• Guaranteed Hours: 36Hrs
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Graduate of an APTA-approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active California PTA license required
• Current BCLS certification
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, acute care, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Observe, evaluate, and document patient progress
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, taping, soft tissue mobilization, and more
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and patient families
• Average of 8–9 patients per day
