Urgent need for a Physician with our client, a Correctional Facility

• Job Location: Toledo, OH 43608
• Shift: Day (8:00 AM- 5:00 PM)
• Duration of Contract: 6 Months
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
• Note: Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and is experienced in primary care to provide full-time on-site services to the male population at this facility.

Pay rate: $136/hr

Submissions must include:

• Resume
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification
• Drug Enforcement Administration certification
• Ohio licensure
• If born outside of the U.S., please provide Passport, Visa etc.
• COVID vaccine card or exemption letter

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment
• for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting
• utilizing an electronic health record system
• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
• Managing medication
• Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated
• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed
• Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour
