Urgent requirement for one of our client which is Correctional Facility,

• Job Name: Psychologist
• Job Location: Chillicothe, OH, 45601
• Shift: Day (7:00 AM- 3:30 PM)
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
• Duration of Contract: 3 Months
• Minimum Education Level : Doctoral Degree

Pay rate: $70/hr

• Ohio license

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Within scope of pra ctice, provides psychological services to patients, residents, consumers, students &/or inmates,provides advice & con sultation on psycholo gical matters, (e.g., conducts psychological &/or neuro psychologicalevaluations/assessments, administers, scores & interprets psychological tests, reviews pre-admission or pre-treatmentdata, conducts interviews & writes evaluation reports & treatment plans, evaluates treatment plans developed & qualityof service rendered by others & coordinates psychological services & programs, assists with program development &conducts research on psychological assessment & treatment) or does all of preceding & acts as lead worker over lowerlevel psychological services staff.

MAJOR WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:

• Knowledge of Ohio revise d code chapters (e.g., 2945, 4732, 51 22); Ohio administrative code (e.g., se ction 473 2);American psychological association forensic psychological guidelines; ethical issues within forensic psychology; adultparole authority laws, rule s & gui delines; criminology, social p sychology; clinicalpsychology;interviewing;psychotherapy; psycho diagnosis; counseling; statistics; employee training & development*; Ohio ethics laws & statutes;biological basis of beh avior;, neuropsychology;, psychopharmacology; counseling. Skill in operation of perso nalcomputer & related software* (Microsoft word; excel; power point; crisis & trauma intervention*; suicide prevention*; firstaid*; CPR*). Ability to understand abstract field of study; define problems, collect data, establish facts & draw validconclusions; recognize unusual or threatening conditions & take appropriate action; use statistical analysis; counselothers on sensitive matters; write in structions, specifications or technical manuals; develop complex reports & positionpapers such as fun ctional assessments, indentifying problem behaviors, prioritizing problem behaviors, definingproblem behaviors & formulating hy pothesis; conduct intellectual educational, social-sexual, risk & adaptiveassessments (including administering & sco ring / i nterpreting assessments); maintain co mposure while testifying a s

MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:

• License to practice psychology as issued by Ohio Stat e Board of Psycholo gy per Section 4732.12 or 4732.15 (A) of Ohio Revised Code.
