- Job Name: Psychology Assistant
- Job Location: Mt. Vernon, OH 43050
- Shift: 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
- Duration of Contract: 1 Years
- Guaranteed hours: 25 hrs
- Minimum Education Level : Associate's Degree
Pay rate: $30/hr

JOB DUTIES IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE:
- Provide psychology services to youth. This may involve, but is not limited to formal psychological evaluations, psychologicaltesting, and other such practices of psychology reflective of the standard of care in that profession.
- Provide psychological treatment to youth based on their needs and presenting difficulties. Treatment should be deliveredin the structure and content of expected practices in psychology reflective of the standard of care of that profession.
- Assisting in the leadership and clinical oversight of interdisciplinary treatment teams.
- Provide psychological services in accordance with ODYS policies, procedures and directives. This involves the development and maintenance of appropriate records documenting services being provided to youth. This also involves conducting risk assessments, observations and treatment of youth displaying or presenting with severe behavioral and safety concerns.
MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
- Experience in working with adolescent and/or juvenile offender populations is preferred. Previous experience in clinical work with children and adolescents is preferred
