Urgent need for a RN - Med Surg for one of our client which is a Hospital,

• Job Location: 1660 60th St West Des Moines, IA 50266
• Shift: Nights
• Shift Notes: 36hrs/week -OR- 48hrs/week if interested
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Weekend Requirements: Every other or every 3rd including holiday rotation
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years recent Med Surg experience
• travel experience
• experience in majority of care aspects
• IA State License Required
• BLS Required
• COVID Vaccine Required
