Job Description :

Urgent need for a Behavioral Health RN for one of our client which is a Hospital.

• Job Location: 100 Park St, Glens Falls, NY 12801
• Shift: Days(6.45AM- 7.15PM)/Nights(6.45PM- 7:00AM)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
• Minimum years of experience:2years

Pay rate: $65/hr

Job Description:

• Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Performs administrative consultives for specialized social services as determined by the specific needs of the Institution.
• Perform specific psychiatric social service work on the Mental Health Unit of a Correctional Facility.
• Assists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects. May direct special projects as requested.
• Participates in and conducts in-service programs, as well as assists in the orientation of new staff.
• Provides the necessary preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2+ years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience - Required 
• Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required 
• Recent travel experience 
• Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients
• De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications- Preferred
• Cerner experience - Preferred
• BLS (AHA)
• CPI
• NY State license
