• Job Name: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
• Job Location: Bakersfield, CA 93306
• Shift: Rotational (4x10 schedule)
• No of weeks: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed hours:40 hrs
• Schedule Notes: 4x10 hour shift each week. 2 days a week of call from 1700-0630 Every other weekend call from Friday 1700 to Monday at 0630

Pay rate: $82/hr

Requirements:

• Must have Interventional Radiology experience.
• 3 Years of experience
• Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License).
• BLS required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card.
• Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center
• Depending on assignment incumbents may be required to possess and maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment.
• Must have knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics.

Job Description:

• Collects and documents data for assigned patients according to prescribed methods.
• Interprets assessment data to determine whether patient has physiological and/or psychosocial risk factors, records and reports variances from normal parameters
• Collaborates with the patient, family and members of the healthcare team to develop individualized plan of care based on existing and potential patient problems, observable patient responses. Implements nursing and physician orders safely.
• Performs and documents the nursing process consistent with scientific principle and hospital policy as required by patient assignment using critical thinking and nursing judgment.
