Urgent need for a RN Charge Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team

• Pay rate: $46/hr
• Job Location: Sweetwater, TX 79556
• Shift: 7p-7a
• Duration of Contract: 13Weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs

Position Requirements:

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience is required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Experience caring for Telemetry patients

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Charge Nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit during night shifts.
• Provide direct nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients.
• Monitor and care for patients requiring telemetry.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Lead, support, and coordinate the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
