Job Description :

Urgent need for a RN Community Health Nurse for one of our client which is a Medical center.

• Job Location: 165 Tor Ct, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
• Shift: Days(9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $65/hr

Job Description:

• Ability to function independently under general guidance of the Director and follows the guidelines and protocols and/or policies and protocols specific to each unit
• Duties require independent action and judgment
• Utilizes time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem solving in providing care
• Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Must maintain emotional stability in emergency settings.
• The CHN evaluates the individual’s and families’ response to interventions.
• The CHN intervenes to promote, maintain or restore health to prevent illness and to effect rehabilitation

Position Requirements:

• One year acute nursing care required, hospital based preferred.
• Experience in home health Required 
• Certified Home Health Required Including Proficieny with OASIS
• Infusion Therapy Certification Preferred
• BLS(AHA)
• BSN strongly preferred
