Urgent need for a RN for one of our client which is a Hospital
- Job Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Shift Notes: Must be willing to float to units where experienced/ 36 hours/week with 24 hours guaranteed
- Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
Pay rate: $65/hr
Position Requirements:
- 3 years of ICU/CCU experience - REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years RN experience - REQUIRED
- ACLS (AHA)- REQUIRED
- BLS (AHA)- REQUIRED
- Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Tele when needed - REQUIRED
- EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE/PROFICIENCY ON PROFILE!
- Travel experience - REQUIRED
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle - REQUIRED
- MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs - REQUIRED
Job Description:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
- Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
- Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
- Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
- Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
