**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for one of our client which is a Medical center,

• Pay Rate: $80/hr
• Job Location: Lamar, CO 81052
• Shift Information: 7:00pm-7:00am
• Number of Weeks: 13
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Position Requirements:

• Current and active Colorado RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within one year of employment.
• 4 years of obstetric/Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn nursing care.
• Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection-control principles.
• Comfortable working with obstetric equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care.
• Assess patients and continuously monitor the progress of labor.
• Prepare patients and the delivery area for C-sections and inductions.
• Administer IV medications and other treatments within the scope of practice.
