Urgent need for a RN Med Surg/Telemetry for one of our client which is a Medical Center.

• Job Location: Towson, MD 21204
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM ) / Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed hours : 36 hrs GTD
• Duration of Contract: 8 weeks + Extendable

Pay rate: $52/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Position Requirements:

• 2 years recent Med Surg and Tele experience - REQUIRED
• 2 years experience caring for stroke patients- REQUIRED
• Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed.
• COVID vaccine - DECLINATIONS NOT ACCEPTED
• BLS(AHA) – Required
• ACLS(AHA)- Required
• Covid Vaccination Required
• MD License Required (Compact Allowed)
