• Job Name: RN Med Surg
• Job Location: Muscatine, IA 52761
• Shift: Days: 12 hr
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week
• Weekend Requirements: Every other including holiday rotation if scheduled

Pay rate: $62/hr

Requirements:

• Med Surg, PCU, Stepdown or IMCU experience - required
• Floating experience
• Is more of a Med Surg specialty which requires floating to PCU & some ICU
• IL and IA RN/Compact license must be active and in-hand
• BLS (AHA)- Required

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
