Urgent need for a Med Surg/Emergency Room RN for one of our client which is a Medical Center,

• Job Location: Syracuse, NE
• Shift :7:00 PM - 7:00 AM(12hr)
• Duration of Contract: PERM
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $43/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing. - Preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Required
• Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska. - Required
• 1 year of experience in acute and/or emergency room setting - Strongly Preferred
• Experience in providing care to a general population - Preferred
• ACLS & PALS - Required
• TNCC Certification - Required (within 1 year of employment)
• BLS Certification - Required
• NE State License
