Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurses for the Med/Surg unit to join our Hospital.

• Pay Rate: $56/hr
• Job Location: Gardner, MA 01440
• Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 32Hrs
• every other weekend and holiday required

Submissions Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
• Document patient care accurately and timely
