Quick Start**

• Urgent need for a Clinical Nurse – OR with our client, which is a Hospital
• Job Location: Philadlephia, PA 19104
• Shift: 1.0 (40 hours a week) position, this is NOT a 0.9 position (36 hours a week). The hours are rotating, 8, 10,12's, with the majority on days but there are off shifts including evenings and overnights. As well as weekends and holidays. This role is NOT 3 12s, department needs contractor to work at least 4 days a week, 40 hours a week.
• Duration of Contract: 3 Months + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs
• Minimum years of experience: Minimum of 1 year of OR experience is required. Department is looking for candidates with scrub, circulating, and pediatric experience.

Pay rate: $110/hr

Job Duties:

• The Clinical Nurse practices at the level of an advanced beginner to expert practitioner of
• professional nursing in accordance with, and guided by the CHOP Nursing Professional
• Practice Model. The nurse at this level demonstrates competence in caring for patients and
• families and progresses to caring for those with the most complex problems/highest acuity in
• the designated clinical area. Provides age/developmentally appropriate care. Care is
• delivered through RN leadership for patient care within the framework of family-centered
• care.
• The Clinical Nurse adheres to the organizational and nursing department mission, vision, and
• values. S/he practices in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics; the ANA Standards of
• Clinical Nursing Practice; practice standards of applicable specialty nursing organizations;
• and CHOP developed standards of nursing practice. The professional nurse practices within
• the defined scope of practice designated by the Nurse Practice Acts of Pennsylvania and/or
• New Jersey, depending on the assigned work site.

Certifications & Licenses

• PA RN License is required
• Must be Covid Vaccinated
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must have Pediatrics Experience
