• Duration of Contract: PERM
• Guaranteed hours: Day Shift // 80-hours per two-week pay period
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
• Minimum years of experience: 1 year

Pay rate: $46.00 - $71.00/hr

Requirements:

• BLS required
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Chemo/Biotherapy card and competency validation or will obtain within one year
• National certification in oncology nursing or intravenous therapy preferred
• Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience preferred
• Recent (in past 5 years) experience caring for palliative care or hospice patients preferred
• OR State License Required

Job Description:

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care as indicated.
• Performs a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and re-assessments as per policy.
• Provides individualized, age-specific care that supports hemeostatic regulation, hemodynamic monitoring and physiologic functioning.
• Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses, and assessment of changes.
• Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Maintains patient confidentiality. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and families. Functions as patient advocate.
