Urgent need for a RN - Pediatrics for one of our client which is a Hospital,

• Job Location: Des Moines, IA 50309
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shift Notes: On Call: none, Weekends: usually every other/every 3rd including holiday rotation
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week

Pay Rate: $58/hr

Job Description:

• Assessing a child’s needs and providing initial care
• Identifying changes in children’s symptoms and intervening in emergency situations
• Participating in pain management for children
• Evaluate children for signs and symptoms of abuse
• Provide supportive care to dying children

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years current Pediatric experience - Required
• BLS and PALS must be active
• at least 1 travel contract completed
• IA State License Required (Compact Allowed)
• COVID Vaccine Required
