*Quick Start*

Urgent need for a RN (General, Dialysis, Mental health) with our client, a Correctional Facility

• Job Location: Lucasville, OH 45699
• Shift: Night(10:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
• Duration of Contract: 3 Months
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs ( Sun, Mon, Tuesday off 10hr shifts)
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $58/hr

Submissions must include:

• Resume
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification
• Ohio RN License

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Provides patient care as directed: administers medication (e.g., oralin tramuscular & intravenous) & monitors patient medication compliance; performs treatments; performs or assist with nurse’s sick call; assist with doctor’s sick call;
• performs or assist with nursing management of chronic care clinics; responds to emergencies providing emergency care & cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
• performs subjective & objective assessment of patients; collects vital signs & timely documents all findings; collects urine &/or other bodily fluid specimens;
• prepares patients for release or transfer to other facilities (e.g., intersystem or out to court) by reviewing patient care, transfer summaries or release summaries;
• ensures discharge medication orders are completed & timely forwarded to pharmacy services; participates in work-related training & institution training exercises.
• Provides assistance to other healthcare staff; investigates & documents problem areas or areas of concern; reviews shift report from preceding shift(s); assist physicians with medical procedures; assumes duties of other nurses during absences; counsels/provides education to patients regarding healthcare maintenance & prevention of disease; participates in quality assurance activities;
• provides training & work direction to new nurses, agency nurses, licensed practical nurses, &/or hospital aides; serves as a resource person for other
• must conduct themselves professionally, & in a law-abiding manner, at all times & in accordance with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction Standards of Employee Conduct; performs other related duties as assigned.
