**Quick Start**

Urgent need for RN -Behavioral Health position for one of our client which is a Hospital,

• Specialty: Behavioral Health - Inpatient
• Job Location: Brattleboro, VT 05301
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) / Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week (Every other weekend Required)
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

• Assess patients’ mental health status through interviews, observations, and clinical assessments to identify their specific behavioral health needs and establish care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and educate patients on medication management specific to psychiatric conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in understanding and managing their mental health conditions.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed to address acute psychiatric episodes, ensuring patient safety and stabilizing their condition.

Position Requirements:

• Psych/Behavioral Health Experience - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience but will consider first time travelers - REQUIRED
• Must be willing to float to other units and take charge RN shifts - REQUIRED
• COVID vaccination and booster - REQUIRED
• BLS(AHA) Required
• VT State license required
