Job Description :
**Quick Start**
Urgent need for a RN (General, Dialysis, Mental health) with our client, a Correctional Facility.
- Pay Rate: $56/hr
- Job Location: Lebanon OH 45026
- Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- Duration of Contract: 3 Months + Extendable
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs (Must be available to work weekends and holidays, including Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day)
- Note: This is not a travel nurse position. Candidates must be local.
Submissions Requirements:
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of general RN experience (medical/surgical or comparable)
- Experience must be in general nursing; candidates with only mental health/psyatric or dialysis nursing experience will not be considered
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum education requirement)
- Previous correctional nursing experience is preferred
Job Duties in Order of Importance:
- Provide comprehensive general nursing care to patients within a correctional healthcare setting.
- Assess patients' health conditions and perform ongoing nursing evaluations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor, document, and report changes in patients' conditions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
- Perform routine nursing procedures, including wound care, vital signs, and health assessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic and written medical records.
