Urgent need for a Registered Nurse - PCU for one of our client which is a Hospital,

• Job Location: Coos Bay, OR 97420
• Shift: Days (12Hr)
• Duration of Contract: 13 weeks + Extendable
• Shift Notes: Must be able to float to MCU/PSU/APU - 36 hours GTD- not considering 48 hours at this time
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $63/hr

Position Requirements:

• Recent (in the past 2 years) acute care hospital experience - REQUIRED
• 2 years experience of intermediate/progressive care experience - REQUIRED
• Facility would consider a candidate with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience
• BLS(AHA)- Required
• ACLS (AHA)- Required
• COVID Vaccine Required
• Oregon State license Required

Job Description:

• Studying patients' charts, medication regimens, and test results upon admittance to the progressive care unit.
• Tracking routine vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
• Interpreting measurements from specialized medical equipment.
• Monitoring and administering prescribed medication, as well as performing titration of drug doses.
