**Quick Start**
Urgent need for a RN (Occupational Health)with our client, a Correctional Facility
- Job Location: Lebanon OH USA 45036
- Shift: Evening (2:00 PM-12:00 AM)
- Weekend Requirements: Working Every Other Weekend with a day off during the week
- Duration of Contract: 6 Months + Extendable
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
- Minimum years of experience: 2 years
Pay rate: $58/hr
Job Duties in Order of Importance:
- Provides patient care as directed: administers medication (e.g., oral intramuscular & intravenous) & monitors patient medication compliance; performs treatments; performs or assist with nurse’s sick call; assist with doctor’s sick call;
- performs or assist with nursing management of chronic care clinics; responds toemergencies providing emergency care & cardiopulmonary resuscitation;performs subjective & objective assessment of patients; collects vital signs & timely documents all findings; collects urine &/or other bodily fluid specimens;
- prepares patients for release or transfer to other facilities (e.g., intrasystem or out to court) by reviewing patient care, transfer summaries or release summaries; ensures discharge medication orders are completed & timely forwarded to pharmacy services; participates in work-related training & institution training exercises.
- provides training & work direction to new nurses, agency nurses, licensed practical nurses, &/or hospital aides; serves as a resource person for other healthcare & security staff regarding healthcare matters; provides orientation & training for new healthcare personnel at the direction of the Nursing Supervisor; serves as the lead clinical authority on site in the absence of the HCA, QIC, medical director &/or advanced level provider staff; participates in group programming; participates in health & wellness initiatives.
