We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Long Term Care (LTC) unit at Medical Center.

• Pay rate: $80/hr
• Job Location: Wrangell, AK 99929
• Shift: Variable 12-hour Shifts (primarily nights; may include days)
• No of weeks: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs

Requirements:

• Must live at least 50 miles from Wrangell, AK
• Active Alaska RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications required; additional certifications (NRP, PALS, BCLS) preferred
• Flu vaccination required

Job Description

• Deliver safe, therapeutic, and efficient nursing care to residents with complex needs
• Perform thorough nursing assessments, document findings, and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications accurately and safely, including age-specific therapies
• Lead and supervise CNAs, LPNs, and ward clerks during shifts as needed
