**Quick Start**

Urgent need for a RN (General, Dialysis, Mental health) with our client, a Correctional Facility

• Job Location: Columbus, OH 43214
• Shift : 8:00 AM- 2:00 PM
• Duration of Contract: 6 Months
• Guaranteed hours: 30 hrs (every other weekend)
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years

Pay rate: $50/hr

Position Requirements:

• Resume
• CPR certification
• COVID Card or Exemption letter
• Ohio Medical License

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Observes, assesses and records inpatient’s and outpatient’s symptoms, reactions and progress;
• Administers prescribed medications and/or ordered treatment plans, emergency care procedures for students, staff, and/ or visitors;
• Provides health education (e.g., counseling, prevention);
• Establishes a compassionate environment (e.g., providing emotional and psychological
• support to patients and families);
• Provides first aid and/or CPR.

Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams:

• Communicates information;
• Responds to requests;
• Builds rapport;
• Participates in team problem-solving methods.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge:

• Attends educational workshop;
• Reviews professional publications;
• Establishes personal networks;
• Participates in professional societies.

Qualifications

• External Requires current licensure as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Ohio Revised Code. Position Specific Qualifications: Must pass the Sign Language Proficiency Instrument at the Survival level within one year of hire.
