Urgent need for a RN (General, Dialysis, Mental health) with our client, a Correctional Facility

• Job Location: London, OH 43140
• Shift: 2nd Shift (1:30 PM-9:30 PM)
• Duration of Contract: 1 Years
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
• Minimum years of experience: 2 years
• Shift Note: rotating schedule as it will be expected to work every third weekend.

Pay rate: $50/hr

Note: $ 500 completion bonus for 12 week contract.

No more than 2 call out's and no NCNS or tardiness issues or the bonus will be voided.

• Resume
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification
• Ohio license

Job Duties in Order of Importance:

• Provides patient care as directed: administers medication (e.g., oral intramuscular & intravenous) & monitors patient medication compliance; performs treatments; performs or assist with nurse’s sick call; assist with doctor’s sick call;
• performs or assist with nursing management of chronic care clinics; responds to emergencies providing emergency care & cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
• performs subjective & objective assessment of patients; collects vital signs & timely documents all findings; collects urine &/or other bodily fluid specimens;
• prepares patients for release or transfer to other facilities (e.g., intrasystem or out to court) by reviewing patient care, transfer summaries or release summaries; ensures discharge medication orders are completed & timely forwarded to pharmacy services; participates in work-related training & institution training exercises.
• Provides assistance to other healthcare staff; investigates & documents problem areas or areas of concern; reviews shift report from preceding shift(s); assist physicians with medical procedures; assumes duties of other nurses during absences; counsels/provides education to patients regarding healthcare maintenance & prevention of disease; participates in quality assurance activities;
