**Quick Start**

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist IV to join our healthcare team.

• Pay Rate: $62/Hr
• Location: Bakersfield, CA 93306
• Duration: 3 Months
• Shift: Night shift
• Hours Per Week: 36Hrs (3 × 12-hour shifts)

Required Certifications:

• 3+ years of Respiratory Therapist experience in acute care
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• RRT credential/eligibility through NBRC
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Current RQI Provider certification and competency
• Strong ventilator-management and ABG-interpretation skills
• Experience with respiratory equipment and cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing

Responsibilities:

• Provide mechanical ventilation and maintain artificial airways.
• Administer aerosolized medications, IPPB, humidity, oxygen, and pulmonary drainage therapies.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
• Perform pulmonary function testing, ECG/EKG testing, and related diagnostic procedures.
• Respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies and hospital-wide emergency calls.
